Carly Inkpen is a social worker, psychotherapist, writer, and collage artist. In each of these roles, they think a lot about trauma, gender, migration, and about how people inhabit their bodies as they move through the world. They have co-authored a book on career negotiation, forthcoming in 2020. Their previous clinical social work scholarship has focused on Third Culture Kid identity and on fashion as a site of intersection between intrapsychic identity and sociocultural forces. Carly is new to creative writing.
