Juliet Duckworth is a multi-media artist who uses organic materials to make ephemeral artworks lasting for as long as the materials exist. Narratives and place inspire her practice. She is concerned with temporality and topography of the earth’s surface. Making the invisible visible by tracking unnoticed places underfoot she casts holes and indents in the ground, preserving moments in time. The material is left alone to move and fix into the spaces it finds and the resulting forms are dug from the ground, connecting the physical action with nature.
She studied Fine Art at Bath Spa University graduating in 2020 and lives and works in rural Somerset.
